This page explains what information The Grandparents Corner (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit thegrandparentscorner.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
The Grandparents Corner is a blog about grandparenting. If you have any questions about your data, write to us at [email protected].
What we collect and why
Our email list. If you sign up for a free download such as the Video Call Play Pack, we collect your email address. We use it to send you the download and occasional ideas for spending time with your grandkids. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. Our email list is managed by MailerLite, which stores your address on our behalf.
Website statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and the pages you view. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Advertising. We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings.
Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply.
Comments
Comments are closed on this site, so we do not collect any comment data.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and remove your address from our active list. Analytics data is kept according to Google’s standard settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU or UK), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
